Well, after being promised that he would be out for 12 days and home for 2, we have realized that is a lie!!!!!! Even his fleet manager has lied to him over Qualcom and the phone (his company's equivilant to a lie to his face).... She told him that he would be home Monday evening, yea right..... Well, the load out of Nashville area that was supposed to bring him towards home took him to North Carolina.... Soooo to go west, towards home, they gave him a load that went east..... fine, only load going out of Nashville area, that's fine, it's miles..... THEN, once that load dropped, he waited for his next load info, and it was from Willmington, NC (so 200 miles EAST of his last drop off, by the way) to pick up by the east coast....Did I mention he couldn't pick this up until 7AM? (so he sat still somewhere for a few hours, since he dropped his last load at 1AM?).... So, he picked up at 7AM, then blew a tire, so he had to get that fixed (that was out of anyone's control, so can't really blame the company directly for this hold up).... His fleet manager has been bugging him to scan his paperwork and logs from January when he was still in training, so he told her, outright, get me home and I will scan the paperwork.... btw, the paperwork she is bitching at him about he faxed because they were from his training, not like the time he put in training will be counted towards his pay raise or anything @@ Yea, that hits on April 25th, and insurance won't kick in until May 1st.... So, now back to my story, lol.... So, he was promised to be home Monday, this load he is under now will have him in Nashville tomoorrow during the day for a 10 hour break, then West Memphis around midnight Wednesday to drop the trailor and take a safety class at 8am for 2 hours (hopefully though he can get a service call scheduled during that to get his windshield replaced since there is a crack in it) A 10 hour break, then home Thursday evening! Meaning the Monday home time he was promised will not happen until Thursday! He is sick and tired of 12 days out turning into 3 weeks, since this is the second time it has happened. Not to mention they gave him a 2005 International with almost 500k miles on it! lol....
He feels so bad that he is missing so much with JJ. I feel bad telling him all these great things JJ is doing because I don't want him to feel worse because he is missing them. But, I also want to reassure him that things are going well here. So, the provwerbial rock and a hard place.... Not to mention all the stuff I am getting to do in game that he is missing because he has not been home enough to buy his lap top.... This all pisses us both off, lol....
Well, I just had to vent this out before I tore his head off, lol... And to think, his fleet manager had teh freeking nerve to try to nag him over the cell phone during his 10 hour break, and I was on the other line, lol, he came back on the phone with me and said it was his other wife nagging him, lol (he was joking, lol)..... grrrrr..... OK, happy post in a few...
*g*
Greetings all! I have been thinking alot lately, really nothing else to do when He is gone, lol. A few questions that have been asked by others or that other ladies have been asked by their Husbands have stuck out in my mind. So, instead of trying to tie my brain around them all, I figured I would write several different entries about them....
So, this is your warning about all the blogs about to be entered, lol.... until they are posted, remember, I'm a bagle on a plate full of onion rolls! lol....
