| It's the little things that count..... |

I was discussing with Joey how much we have both been happier since we stopped hiding who we really are in regards to our private life. I mentioned how much He has really come into His own as a Dom since we stopped hiding who we really were and He made a comment that completely caught me off guard. He said that He has been able to come into His own alot easier because I have been there to show Him, through the little deeds that I do for Him without even thinking, what a true and loving submissive is. That comment meant more to me then He could ever know. For many years, I felt I had to really stifle my submissive side, and watched every single move I made, I didn't want to seem too submissive to men who did not really deserve it. But, I have found a man who would never take my submissiveness for granted and who would never take advantage of it. There is a reason I refer to Him as my Gentle Dom when talking to other people in the lifestyle, lol......So, after our conversation, I was thinking about all the little things I do for Him that show my devotion to the D/s relationship and my joy in it. I did not realize, until I actually sat down to think about it all, how D/s has really gone from just in the bedroom to our day to day life, when He is home... Little things, like removing His boots and socks for Him when He gets home, putting a dryer sheet in the boots to keep them fresh (thanks for that idea Tam, lol), rubbing His feet for Him after a long day or driving (without Him even needing to ask)... Dinner time, I always make His plate and serve it to Him before I make my own, making sure He doesn't need anything before I get my dinner (a drink, salt, etc...), I won't cook something He prefers not to have when He is home, I make sure to have sweet tea made and cold before He is going to be home... I offer to light His ciggs when He is home... when He is taking a shower, I get in with Him and wash His back, legs, arms, chest, etc... (everything but His face and hair, lol).... or, if He wants to be alone in the shower, I will pop His towels in the dryer for Him so they are fluffy and warm for Him.... Little things that make a difference and that make Him feel special and loved in my own little way, lol. Oh well, just my little babbling for the morning, lol.... I will write more later, lol... |
