I feel as if my mind has been wandering on overdrive lately, lol.... A number of things have come to my attention lately that make you think, or make me sick, or make me just want to scream.... you know those little things that drive you nuts, things like that.....

• Why, if there is more educational material out there then ever before, and when more is known about prevention then ever before, are the cases of STDs higher then ever?
• Why, when so much is known about the prevention of pregnancy are the numbers of unwed mothers and teen age mothers higher then ever?
• Is it just me or does it seem to anyone else that the more advanced we get as a society, the more our morals and social responsibility backslides?
• To a friends lately: Your 5 year old daughter does not have a boy friend, stop rushing her, yes, she may have a friend who is a boy, but at that age it is wayyyy too young to say that he is her boyfriend and to drive them to dates.
• Are parents' to blame for the low morals in our society? Is it TV? Music? society as a whole? It makes you wonder
• Why is it we can find enough money to give death row inmates HBO because doing without cable in prison is cruel and unusual punishment, yet we are cutting art and music class funding for schools?
• Anyone else notice that about the time younger generations started to get fatter was when they started budget cuts to PE programs in schools and athletic programs had their funding cut as well? Coincidence?
• Why is it that it is ok for a democratic president to have oral sex in the oval office with a woman other then his wife, and lie to the American public about it, yet it is not ok for a republican politician to have an afair, admit it, get his wife's forgiveness, and move on, years before he took office?
• Why is it that people think that just because you are someone's supervisor it gives you the right to tell them to break the law?
• Why is it that certain fleet managers and certain companies act like they are doing an employee some huge favor by sending them home for their day off when they have not seen their family for 2 weeks?
• Fleet managers, load assigners, dispatchers, etc... should have to go out for a full month and sit second seat without actually driving, to see what it is like to be a driver and away from their families and away from home for weeks on end, before they can tell drivers what to do.
• Why is my marriage considered a "mixed" marriage just because my husband is a southerner and I am a northerner? (mainly down here, since I am a Yankee and he is a Rebel, yes, some people down here are still fighting the Civil War)
• That when your post title is too long, it runs into the text and you can't read the text
• That my step-father-in-law is a raciest prick, a sexist pig, and a concieted ass. DH and his sisters can do no right according to him, yet nothing his son does should ever be questioned. And I used to wonder why this was the house duct tape built, lol.
• Is it just me, or does anyone else see the coincidence in the increase in the number of children who are being diagnosed with ADD and ADHD and the cuts to PE programs in schools? Spend some money on PE? No, lets put all the kids on mind altering drugs instead and then call the parents bad parents if they don't do it. Very few people in my generation were on such mind altering and anti-psychotic drugs, and why the hell are so many CHILDREN on anti depresants these days?
